The thinking behind this web-site ...

I've made this web-site using the GetSimple CMS. I was looking for an easy-to-use CMS and GetSimple seemed better suited to the needs of small companies and free-lancers such as myself than the more popular but also more complex CMSs such as Wordpress or Typo3.

I wanted to try out a CMS that was free, open-source and did not use a database. I selected GetSimple because it has a very clean interface for users editing their own content and a relatively flat learning curve, and because there are plugins available which make the development of a multi-lingual web-site relatively straightforward.
